COOKIES:

A cookie is a short message (file) containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed. Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.

Some of our advertisers occasionally serve you cookies as well. We do not have control over cookies placed by advertisers. We may use advertising service vendors to help present advertisements on the website. These vendors may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve you advertisements tailored to interests you have shown by browsing on this and other sites you have visited, to determine whether you have seen a particular advertisement before and to avoid sending you duplicate advertisements.

In doing so, these vendors may collect non-personally identifiable data such as your browser type, your operating system, web pages visited, time and date of visits, content viewed, ads viewed, and other clickstream data. The use of cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies by these advertising service vendors is subject to their own privacy policies, not ours, and we disclaim all liability in connection therewith.

AMAZON AFFILIATE LINKS:

Consultico.Org is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.in. Amazon offers a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links. Each of your purchases via our Amazon affiliation links supports us at no additional cost to you.

If Consultico.Org links to an Amazon product (with a special code for affiliates embedded in the link), and a reader places an item in their shopping cart through that link within 24 hours of clicking the link, Consultico.Org gets a small percentage of the sale. Amazon links are not ‘pay per click’. If you click on a product link and stay around Amazon and purchase something else however, Consultico.Org will get a commission on that sale.

Anytime you see a link that looks like https://amzn.to/… or www.amazom.com/… it is an Amazon affiliate link.
